LIFT Services: Lift Services take place on Wednesdays nights from 7:30pm - 8:45pm for both Junior High and Senior High.
AWAKEN: Awaken takes place on Sunday mornings at 11am in the student lounge and is for Junior High (grades 6-8) Students only!

WHAT IS ELEVATE?
Elevate is the Junior High and High school ministry at Heartland Church in Carrollton, Texas. Elevate is family and all about elevating your life. It's a place where students can come and connect and figure out how to live life better. We believe there is truth in the Gospel (that's the good news of Jesus and what He did for all of us). So, we get together to worship God with some pretty sweet tunes, to study the Bible, to figure out how to live a great God-centered life, and to have a great time connecting with one another because there's no way we can succeed in life if we go at it alone. That's pretty much it. If you're looking for some strong friends who will help you through life, some practical advice on how to live life and just straight up act insane…check out Elevate.
HOW DO I GET CONNECTED?
The fastest and easiest way to get connected is to visit a LIFT service on a Wednesday night. Here, we'll have an opportunity to introduce you to some of our leaders and students. It'll also allow you to get a feel for just what we're about in Elevate.
The answer to your question is two-fold. One reason is because the Bible tells us to, and we like the Bible. We study what it has to say and it actually helps us live great lives. You might check out Psalm 149:3 and Psalm 150 (they're somewhere in the middle). The second reason is because we are pretty passionate people who really love God. He completely changed our lives when we gave Him a chance, so it's not enough to just say, "thanks for that." We let Him know how grateful we are by responding with everything we've got. We know it may seem a little weird, but that's ok with us. We figure if you can go to the movies and laugh your brains out, if you can go to a Mav's game and scream your guts out, then you can come to Lift and worship your face off for Him. It's really that simple.
